Aloha!

I apologize for the tardiness of this post.  We've been back from Kauai for over two weeks now and I am just now going through photos and updating the blog.  As you will see from the pictures it was an amazing trip!  Get ready for picture overload.  We flew out on July 28 and had a layover in Phoenix.  Let's just say the flight from Phoenix to Lihue was tough with a 16 month old.  I think it will definitley be easier when she is a little older.  When we got to Hawaii we headed to the resort.  We met up with Raul's family (there was 14 people including us!)  We stayed until the following Saturday when we flew out on a red eye (brutal, but at least Libby slept and we had an empty seat between us!!).  During the week activities ranged from swimming/laying out by the pool, going to beaches and playing in the ocean and sand, hiking, fishing, golfing, relaxing, visiting, some kayaked, helicopter ride over the island, eating, drinking, playing with cousins, more eating and drinking, and shopping.  The week flew by!  The weather was a bit rainy in the beginning of the week, but by Wednesday it was sunny and beautiful!  Libby was so good and LOVED being in the water whether it be the pool or the ocean!  She enjoyed playing in the sand and with the shells too!  Raul and I are already talking about when we should take our next trip to Kauai!
