Go Libby's Mama, Go!

My friend Misty talked me into doing the Livestrong Half Marathon.  I have to be honest I didn't train as well as I should have.  The week before the race I debated whether or not I was even going to complete it.  Raul convinced me to just suck it up and do the thing.  I am so glad I did.  I didn't run the whole thing, but I finished!  This was my second half marathon, but it still felt amazing crossing the finish line!  I am pretty proud of myself and Misty too!  She ran the whole thing - go girl!

Libby's 1st Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day!  After Libby's morning nap she and I went to the grocery store to get stuff for dinner.  Then we met our friends Vanessa and Fia for a walk around Town Lake.  It was in the 70's today - a beautiful day for a walk.  We headed over to Whole Foods for a lunch outside.  Fia even brought Libby a Valentine balloon!  Thanks Fia!  When daddy got home he had a special prize for each of us, a cute dog for Lib and a dozen red roses for momma!  Libby and her daddy are the loves of my life!  Happy Valentine's Day!

I wonder if she ever gets tired of the camera in her face?!
