Before Libby and I left for NM we had to make a trip to the mall to see Ho-Ho, otherwise known as Santa. Btw, Libby called a Snowman, Mano this year. I, of course, had to have her pose in front of the Christmas tree for a few pics. When we got to the mall everything was fine and dandy. The girls were playing and snacking while we waited for Santa to arrive. The girls just stared as he walked by and some didn't even notice him at all. Then when it was time for each of them to sit on his lap things got a little crazy! Three out of the four cried, hard. Two out of the four had to have her mom sit on Santa's lap holding her! Once the girls got candy canes everything was better in the world. We headed to the coin cars to play before lunch and all the girls were happy as can be!

Trimming the Tree
We were interested to see how Lib would react to the Christmas tree this year. She was really good about not touching it or the ornaments. She was allowed to help decorate but pretty much left it alone the rest of the time. Everyone morning after it was up she asked me to turn on the lights if they weren't already on. We loved having it up. It made the house feel so cozy and festive! It'll be sad to put it away but I must admit it will be nice to have the living room back in order. ;)
Thanksgiving 2012
This year Angie, Cody, and Haddi came to Austin to spend Thanksgiving with us! We didn't take many photos during the visit but had a great time eating, laughing, and playing. Libby and Haddi were so sweet together. The older they get the better they are at playing together. It was a quick trip for them but Libby loved having her Tia, Conkey, and Haa-Haa here!!
Christmas Card Photo Shoot
I put this denim dress on Libby and had to take some pics because it was so cute! Well, some of the shots turned into our Christmas card for 2012. (Sorry if you didn't receive one. This was my first year, so it was a learning experience!)
Papa & GeeGee
You probably realized I am doing some catch up here on the blog. This was from a visit in November. Yes, I am behind. Anyway, Papa and GeeGee came to Austin for a visit for the weekend! Here are a couple of shots of Lib playing with them!
Pumpkins, Hayrides, Animals, & Tractors
Right around Halloween we all met up at Elgin Christmas Tree farm to check out the pumpkins and animals. We took a hayride together and "drove" the tractors. In fact, the tractor driving was the girls' favorite activity of the day! After the farm we ate at Meyers Elgin Smokehouse for lunch - yummy!
