Pumpkin Patch turned Park

Last week we planned to take the girls (Libby, Fia, and Isabel) to a local pumpkin patch to take some pictures.  Yes, again.  And we are going to another one this week!  A bit overboard ya think?!  Well, the pumpkin patch was closed.  We were bummed, but decided to head to the park and maybe get some cute shots there.  After all the girls were all dressed up!  They probably had a much better time at the park anyway!  Libby slid down the slide all by herself for the first time.  She loved it and repeated it several times.  She loves going to the park.  We went to a birthday party at the same park last Saturday and she played the entire time we were there.  Heat and all.  Her cheeks were flushed and she was sweating, but she could care less.  She was lovin' life!

Sweet Berry Farm

Last week Libby, Fia, Vanessa, and I headed to Marble Falls (west of Austin) to visit Sweet Berry Farm.  In the Spring you can go and pick your own berries, but in the Fall they have pumpkins, hayrides, painting pumpkins, scarecrow making, and other festive activities.  We thought it would be a great photo opportunity, however, the girls had other ideas.  Last year was so much easier to get staged photos of them with the pumpkins.  We could just plop them in front of a pumpkin, point, and shoot!  As soon as we sat them down they were out of there!  We finally had to bribe them with snacks to get a few posed shots in.  We thought it was going to be a cool day, but we were shedding layers as soon as we got there!  It ended up being a fun day and the girls loved the goats at the farm!  Good times with great friends!

Time to go!  Fia slept on the way there and Lib slept on the way back.
